They say the beating of a butterfly's wings can cause change across the world. They symbolize rebirth and beauty in it's purist form. When a moth lands it spreads its wings, when a butterfly lands it's wings pulse open and close. To catch the moment before it flies away again is a gift.

The Atlas Moth, The moth uses the markings on its back, which resemble a snake, to scare away predators. The Atlas does all its eating as a larva; the adult moth has no mouth, and cannot eat. It's wingspan can reach one foot wide, this one had just emerged from its cacoon and was seven inches wide. The Atlas Moth's lifespan is up to two weeks long.
